Tattooed on my mind
TATOO by Jordin Sparks
Oh, oh, oh
No matter what you say about loveI keep coming back for more
No matter what you say about loveI keep coming back for more
Keep my hand in the fire
Sooner or later, I'll get what I'm asking for
No matter what you say about life I learn every time I bleed
No matter what you say about life I learn every time I bleed
That truth is a stranger
Soul is in danger, I gotta let my spirit be free
To admit that I'm wrong
To admit that I'm wrong
And then change my mind
Sorry but I have to move on
And leave you behind
[Chorus]
I can't waste time so give it a moment
I realize, nothing's broken
No need to worry 'bout everything I've done
Live every second like it was my last one
Don't look back at a new direction
I loved you once, needed protection
You're still a part of everything I do
You're on my heart just like a tattoo
(Just like a tattoo, I'll always have youI'll always have you,
I'll always have you)
I'm sick of playing all of these games
I'm sick of playing all of these games
It's not about taking sides
When I looked in the mirror, didn't deliver
It hurt enough to think that I could
Stop, admit that I'm wrong
Stop, admit that I'm wrong
And then change my mind
Sorry but I gotta be strong
And leave you behind
[Chorus]
(Just like a tattoo, I'll always have you I'll always have you)
[Bridge]If I live every momentWon't change any moment
Still a part of me and youI will never regret you
Still the memory of you
Marks everything i do
[Chorus x2]
Just like a tattooI'll always have you

Childhood Buddies
Just got home from a joyride with my church friends: Sandra, Mabel, Frylle, Jok2, PInky and Clayton! We get to ride on Frylle's pajero and it was sweet! Mura mig nagstar gazing at the same time, joyride! Bibo kaayo coz we transformed Frylle's pajero into somekind of a Disco car at the same time, Emo transport!
These guys have been my friends for a long time now. Since youth pako, kami najud nila Frylle, Jok2, etc and tig.kauban.. They say nga "wala gihapon natay-an" and among pagka amigo.. Di madismantol daw! Very true! And I and proud of what we built together. Bisan usahay, dili magkasinabot, pero we always end up laughing at ourselves and making fun of our mistakes.
We reminisced the times when we were yet mga "sip-onon" and mga babies pa as we watched through the pictures we had the previous years. Funny to note that much has changed around us, even how we look like, but still the bond that kept us together before still clinged on the friendship we still share right now!
Haha. Bitaw, lingaw kaayo.. We did have a good time. Mubo ra gani to siya na panahon. I could still remember the times when we would often go to Dauis unya mangawat ug manga sa silingan nila Jok2 or go joyriding with lots of motorbikes around the city, gather christmas gifts from other church members or just plain cooking canton at one's house.
Really, its one of the moments when you get to thank the Father for giving you good friends to whom you can share the same standards and beliefs. Remarkable as how it brings you a different kind of happiness when you are around people who feels the same power of the Spirit as you do. People who understands why you don't do this or why you need to do that. This is, for me, is true friendship. One where you can be yourself and pour everything about who you are in reality.
I love being around them. They definitely are my friends for eternity. :D

Youth Conference 2008
Last week's highlight was the Multi-District Youth Conference where LDS youth all around Bohol comes together to have fun activities as well as develop their spiritual side through learning more about the gospel and working on their Young Women Progress and Duty to God.
One of the activities everybody was looking forward to was the most awaited My turn on earth Roadshow. An activity that showcases various talents and abilities of the Youth in the five branches in Tagbilaran District. For 2 months they have practiced for their performance. A lot of sweat and hard work coupled with fun gatherings with friends were the recipe and everyday seemed very long for everyone.
Unfortunately, I was not able to follow their practices and rehearsals due to work and some school responsibilities I had but inspite that, my youth were very diligent in attending the meetings.
So now comes the day when they get to perform in front of the crowd, to ones that are unfamiliar and to ones who've been there with them all the way. Here comes the time when I get to worry on how my youth turns out at the same time mixed with the feelings of excitement to see them perform their last roadshow!
The lights went off and the people sat still to welcome the first scene. The music plays, the first character poses and whallaahh, the show began! It was exquisite. Superb in the eyes of the spectators, and a success to the people behind the show. I am so proud of my Youth! They did a very splendid job that even I did not expect how good they turned out on stage! The whole time, I was smiling and taking pictures of my young men and young women singing while they dance and having fun while they performed.
They made me so proud to be their teacher.
That moment I realized that hard work and practice really pays off. To the choreographers, props makers and the script writers, I commend them all for doing a great job. I know the road was not that easy. They've been through ups and downs and had spent a great deal of patience to the youth when their natural attitude shallows up. I have been there and yes, it is never easy.
To my senior students, Sandra and Mabel, you've been wonderful the whole time! :D You make me proud! Eventhough outside class, we are barkadas but as a teacher, I indeed was impressed of how you took responsibility for your roles as seniors and as Ates during the show and even throughout the Youth Conference. Its comforting to know that the lessons that you have learned have been seen applied to the outside world. You both did well and I look forward to be once again collegue in the Singles Conference soon.
To everyone behind the success, well, it was A JOB WELL DONE.
